DESCRIPTION & REVIEWS

Can we even count how many ways we love the Cranberry? This beautiful pashmina is a Wrapunzel classic. It’s a heavier scarf (though not at all bulky!) in rich color, with gorgeous wide ornate borders on all four edges. It’s also reversible – there’s a different color on the opposite side of the scarf, making for TONS of wrapping possibilities! Layer it, fold it, pleat it – you can create the effect of a headband or of several scarves in one! Try adding a shiny pin or dangly pair of earrings for a special night. You will never be disappointed! Wondering how our model Atara wrapped it in our photograph? Check out the Cranberry Cross tutorial!

I have the teal version and absolutely love it! The colors are fabulous and the feel is so nice and smooth. Plan on getting this in other colors!

  2. templeofdivineradiance (verified owner)

I bought this scarf in so many colors and I don’t regret it. (Below is the eggplant one, in Shira Tails style with a Petalsoft and the Signature Shaper underneath for a great silhouette. ) The texture is fabulous … warm yet lightweight and breathable. The designs are gorgeous and yes, they really are two-sided, which is fun for a wrap like Shira Tails where you get to see both colors. I love wearing these even in our desert here in Dubai … the breathability factor makes them perfect for going between hot desert and freezing cold A/C inside offices and shopping malls. Highly recommended. If you think pashminas are too thick … try these. I think you’ll love them! ❤️

  3. templeofdivineradiance (verified owner)

Stunning. I bought so many colors, and I’m happy I made the investment. As others have said, these are incredibly lightweight. I live in Dubai and I’ll still wear them in the middle of our Arabian desert summer. That’s how light they are. Also, the two-sided designs are a knockout. I need to watch some tutorials and up my ‘wrap game’ so I can fully take advantage of the possibilities of the dual-tone. Love love love. Fantastic ‘fancy basics’ that can be dressed up or down … wear them with a ball gown or jeans.

  4. swilkins1291 (verified owner)

I have this in Slate and Eggplant and they are the most beautiful scarves! Soft and easy to wrap. Absolutely would recommend and I plan on getting it in more colors as well!

  5. ilyssa.perlman

The best scarf ever! It ties like a dream and is so cozy, especially in the full and winter. It also is just so beautiful and classy. I have it in red and in purple, and just feel so regal every time I wear them

  6. Amanda Eller (verified owner)

Wow! All the colors I ordered are just beautiful! So elegant and sophisticated. Totally out of my norm but these feel so regal and feminine. The red will definitely be my Passover headcovering. These are a typical medium weight pashmina with tassels. Reversible. Only downside is my red one has a small snag – which does happen easily with these wraps. It can usually be hidden when wrapping. They drape beautifully if you leave the ends down. I’m a big fan!

  7. Beth Plymale (verified owner)

Hands down my FAVORITE wrap ever! My have about 7 of them and they are so gorgeous and comfortable and wrap super easily. They make easy wraps look fancy and always glamorous. I want one in every color.

  8. Joanna Charest

These scarves are my top choice! They are completely versatile – warm and cozy – and absolutely stunning!

  9. stephanie.degagne (verified owner)

The cranberry is easily my absolute favorite scarf! Very versatile and comfortable and it makes you feel positively regal no matter what you choose to do with it. I have it in a few color ways and intend on having it in a few more!

  10. godlovzcf

I love my Cranberry scarfs! I have it in two colors and love how vibrant the colors are and how easy they are to wrap in multiple ways. I also enjoy being about to use both sides for unique combinations.

  11. moonlitenchantment

This scarf is so beautiful ♡ it feels very high quality and durable. The only reason I gave this scarf 4 stars is that the dusty rose/cream scarf is quite a bit darker in person. I still love it, but now I still need a pink scarf for my collection as it’s more of a mauve. If you like muted dark pink/mauve and gold it’s perfect for you ♡

  12. Tamika

I purchased the Cranberry in red and saffron. They are both lovely. I like the colors on both sides of my Cranberry scarves. We are starting to wake up with frost here in New England and this scarf has me feeling toasty in the cold. I am so glad I noticed the sale and purchased two! I want to get the teal scarf eventually. I recommend this scarf. Rivka Malka said in a tutorial this scarf is special. I concur with her sentiments. In the photo I am wearing the Cranberry in saffron with a Autumn Spice Sari Sash.

  13. manusellwood

I feel like every scarf I own is my favorite scarf, but I think the cranberry is among my most favorite. It’s comfortable, soft, warm but not too thick, with the beautiful pattern & colors making it look elegant effortlessly. It’s a great scarf for travel, as being double-sided you get two looks in one scarf, and it can look dressy without much fuss & still be cozy & comfy when you’re going to be wearing it for a long period of time. I got it in olive and the colors are just beautiful (the other side is a very autumnal rust color). I might have to pick up another color or two of this, it’s just so delightful.

  14. Alison

I love this scarf – I got it in saffron! Thick, nice quality – can still layer with other decorative essentials!

  15. Sarah Spaulding

Beautifully made, thick scarf with very vibrant colors that are true to what you see online! Shipping was fairly quick as well. I bought 3 in different colors. Would buy again!

  16. monique99205

Got the coral and gray. This is thick but soft and really wrapable for a newbie like me. I loved it so much I also have the red, aqua and grey one!

  17. shopingrc

Bought Maroon/Mint and Purple/Gold. I love the longer length!
I wore maroon/mint during St. Patrick time and received many compliments on how it complents my brown eyes. Purple/Gold worked out excellent for Meat Fare, Cheese Fare and now first two Sundays of Lent.

  18. alexia.lecouteulx

It was my first order on this website and it will not be the last ! I’ve ordered one cranberry scarf in purple/gold and i love it so much !! It’s really warm and cozy, it’s warm enough for this cold winter weather ! For now, I’ve only wear it outside and I’ve felt so good with it ! As it is a really warm scarf, I don’t think that I will wear it inside often.
I’m really happy with my first order and I will now buy scarves on Wrapunzel !
I’ve also ordered one solid pashmina and two tshirt scarves and it arrived pretty quickly (almost two weeks which is great for where I live) !
    Hi from France !!

  19. Helen

The Cranberry is known for its beauty, softness, and warmth. It’s so much fun to play with the beautiful border and the contrasting sides. This is the Saffron Cranberry piled high into a comfortable turban.

  20. rifineach

I ordered this scarf in slate blue after thinking about this choice for some weeks, since computer screens are notorious for not always showing color choices accurately. I needn’t have worried as it is every bit as beautiful as I expected. As someone who’s worked with paints–watercolor, oil, etc.–I can say that this striking shade of blue has a drop of black in it, which subtly changes the look of any color into which it is mixed, and gives the resulting color a bit of mystery. This scarf is going to get worn a lot!

  21. l.catherine.winter

Probably my favourite scarf yet! It wraps perfectly over my Wrapunzel classic shaper, and drapes gorgeously as a veil. Lightweight but warm, classic and versatile. This deserves 100 stars.

  22. shariehyder

Hands down one of the most beautiful tichel/scarves I own! I always feel elegant when I wear it!

  23. Kirsten

I have the cranberry scarf in saffron and it’s absolutely stunning!!! It’s perfect for fall and winter. Even though it’s a warm scarf I have used it in the summer. Can’t wait to get more colors!

  24. Robyn Mathews

I got the purple/gold scarf, and it is BEAUTIFUL! The contrast is striking and elegant, and it’s very soft. I love it.

  25. laughlik

Elegant, soft, and easy to wrap. What else can I say except try it for yourself?

  26. clnichols268

I got the cranberry scarf in red and purple gold, so beautiful, the colors are so vibrant they can be wrapped for a casual turban style or have a tail for a more elegant look. They can be pleated or laid flat, you can wrap them with just one color or with the border showing or if you get one with two tones you can wrap it with both colors showing. They are also perfect for cold weather.

  27. morganlynnlundy

So soft and warm, this scarfs two sides and all around border lets me create an endless amounts of styles and feels so luxurious on. This is my winter 1 scarf favorite.

  28. lorigrim

Beautiful scarf, the colors are so gorgeous and the material is so soft. Thank you!

  29. elanacjohnson

This is my absolute favorite tichel, my most worn. It’s beautiful, absolutely exquisite and easy to wear daily. It was the one I wanted most when I first started browsing the website and I’m so glad I got it.

  30. Heather F.

I was worried when I got this scarf that it would be too heavy for my liking but the colors were so beautiful I had to have just one. Now I own at least 4-5! The scarf pictured is the teal I believe. It is so gorgeous and if you fold it a certain way, it looks like 2 different scarves in one tichel! I just love the border too! Words can’t adequately express my love for the cranberry!

  31. Kričja

This is the first Wrapunzel scarf I fell in love with, immediately after discovering the shop and channel. I love this scarf so much I had to buy it in three colours in my first ever order -Teal, Red and Saffron- and I want to buy more!
The feel of these scarves is amazing, so soft, and they are so light for pashmina! I live in cold climate and these ones will bring colour and warmth in my life every day. I also love the border, I wear it showing and it makes me feel like royalty while doing chores. And because these scarves are two sided, its like you get 2 for 1. The photos do not do justice for these beautiful jewels of scarves. If I could only wear one scarf for the rest of my life, it’d be one of the Cranberries <3

  32. Ericka (verified owner)

Love love love LOVE!!! Gorgeous and luxurious, it makes me stand a little taller so I can represent it well. I live in Michigan, where today we started out at 7 degrees below zero. With this and my shaper, my head was well insulated against the cold. I’ve been wearing and buying from Wrapunzel for a couple of years now, but I’m still a pretty much a beginner wrapper as I don’t do it every day. That being said, I found the Cranberry scarf an easy dream to wrap. No matter how cuckoo-kachoo my style ended up being, the scarf still made it look regal and intentional. Soft, warm, luxuriant, gorgeous, easy to wrap — what more do you need?!?!? By the way, I have the saffron and red. 🙂

  33. Diane Ullman (verified owner)

I’m not a pashmina person. I don’t like heavy scarves and the climate I live in doesn’t usually get cold enough to support the. Well, surprise! This scarf is very light-weight while maintaining the pashmina’s customary bulk. The color’s are drop-dead gorgeous. The reversability is a treat, allowing you to have two uses from the same one, increases their usefulness–and the super gorgeous border is to die for. I adore them.

  34. Ericka (verified owner)

What a marvelous luxurious scarf!!! Soft and strong and gorGeOUS!!! I bought the saffron and red and couldn’t be happier! Wore the saffron the very next day and got so many compliments. It handles well and stays put, I had no problems trying a few different styles right off the bat. I couldn’t bear to pierce it with a pin because the scarf itself made me feel like royalty! I like the way one side is more subtle than the other. Simply can’t say enough good words about this one.

  35. jessica.mcclain

What a wonderful scarf! I have the red and it is perfect for late fall in New England – – I feel almost as glorious as the changing leaves. I love wrapping to show the borders, as it’s like having a crown built in to the wrap.

  36. Kathleen (verified owner)

I love the slate blue Cranberry! It’s so versatile and very warm and cozy. I don’t know why I waited so long to order one! There are so many beautiful colors to choose from you’ll have to order several!!

  37. Victoria Cato

I have the cranberry in dark navy and slate blue and LOVE them. Pleated with Shira tails are my go to for showing off their beautiful borders. Thicker than a regular pashmina but thinner than a tapestry they are so easy to wrap with. I plan to get more!

  38. Susan Waitt (verified owner)

The Cranberry Scarf in Saffron is outstanding! The richness of the colors are spectacular. It is clearly a winter wrap a heavier wrap, but I had no trouble each and every time I wrapped this Saffron spectacular to the office. If there’s any mustard/gold shade in my outfit, this is my “go-to” during the colder season. In summary, I am thrilled with this scarf!

  39. Sharon Bolton (verified owner)

I have about 5. They are a bit bulky to wrap. Otherwise..drool. Rich colors. Wrapping to get the best use of the border can be tricky.

  40. ann fisher (verified owner)

these scarves are a fantastic winter/holiday wrap. warm, cosy, easy to pleat and let you feel like one of God’s princess. have 4 colors…..saffron, slate blue, dark brown, and a dark red…….could not pick a favorite, but would like them all….keep looking for the bright red thanks

  41. Karen Re (verified owner)

I am sorry ladies, my error…the colour shown in the Cranberry scarf that l am wearing is actually red, not burgundy. Oops. Not like a bright tomato red, but deeper and rich. Thank-you.

  42. Karen Re (verified owner)

    Wrapunzel Cranberry scarf in burgundy.

  43. Karen Re (verified owner)

What is comparable to drinking a toasty, hot chocolate on a cold, wind blowing, snowy day you may ask? Wearing a beautiful Cranberry scarf from Wrapunzel.
Living in the great, white north (Canada) with plummeting temperatures, l often reach for my burgundy scarf. It is a heavier weight scarf, and yet l can wear it with a black headband underneath, or an oomph scrunchie. The burgundy is a deep , subdued, elegant color which one woman had stopped me at a grocery store, to tell me how lovely the scarf is. Ladies, this scarf truly is a classic to be enjoyed for many winters to come.
The colour is enough to add rosiness to your cheeks and beauty to your wardrobe, when the days are dark, less bright skies and cold. A beautiful pop of colour can be so uplifting to your spirit.
Be prepared for the upcoming cold months. This purchase of the Cranberry Wrapunzel scarf, you will definitely not regret.

  44. Alona Burman

Hi: Which color is the “model” wearing? Red or maroon?

    • Naomi Rose Herzog

      It’s the red!

  45. arelyalfaro20151 (verified owner)

    In love with the teal!!!?

  46. arelyalfaro20151 (verified owner)

I bought the teal and it is gorgeous!!… I’m not the type of girl to wear something so eye catching and elegant but I fell in love with the teal in this scarf I couldn’t resist!! I tried it on and felt like royalty ☺️ So gorgeous!!

  47. hermioneg1748

So, now I have this one in two colors, so this is my review of the pink and blue one. It’s not my favorite scarf, but it is very nice for holidays and parties, as it has a very fun-loving, lighthearted feel to it. It’s somewhat difficult to wrap, but with perseverance, one can achieve a nice, girly look. 🙂 Still is fine after having been drenched by rain, and I love it’s reversibility (though the pink side is my favorite)!

  48. hermioneg1748

When I got this teal Cranberry in the mail, the first thing I thought was how luxurious it was. I just wanted to run my hands all down it and let it embrace me like a veil. It sat untouched for about two weeks, because it’s too hot to wear it in the summer, but I decided to play dress-up and try it on for you ladies. I wrapped it in a Countess Veil, and…I just feel like a queen! It’s so smooth and regal! ❤️

  49. Lila Besser

This scarf is super soft and fun! The border makes it look like a second scarf and the colors are so flattering!

  50. gingeybear (verified owner)

I love this pashmina. I couldn’t resist the coral and grey because it is a colorway that I had been searching for even before I began to cover my hair full time. It’s absolutely stunning. I wish that the color resolution was better because I took this in C@#tc@ under horrible fluorescent lighting but just imagine how rich it is under ambient light and in daylight.

  51. Sabrina

Please restock the red as soon as possible!

    • Naomi Rose

We are on the lookout for more! 🙂 If you have any restocking questions in the future please feel free to email us – [email protected]

  52. Cheryl (verified owner)

The maroon is a darker purple than I expected, I hoped for it to be redder like in the picture.

    • Naomi Rose

Hi Cheryl! Sorry the color was different than expected! The first picture (on the model) is the Red, not the Maroon. But if you click “Maroon” on the dropdown list, a picture of the maroon one should show up. Same thing if you click “Red”. So sorry for any confusion! Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] if you’d like to arrange a return!

  53. Emilie Johnson (verified owner)

I ordered the maroon cranberry, and I just love it. Pictures do not do it justice. It is soft and warm, but not bulky. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. I can’t wait to order another one!

  54. mirja.haukisaari (verified owner)

This scarf is SO soft! I spent a good year and s hlf circling this puppy and dreaded it for no reason whatsoever. I was under the impression that it would be tricky to handle – boy was I wrong!
It’s quite close to the Lakeshore Bliss in wrapping, even though it’s a bit thicker and double sided.

If you are interested in this but not sure if you can handle it, I’d say go for it!
I’m wearing the Maroon one in this photo.

  55. dejarvis83 (verified owner)

I have owned the purple and the teal cranberry for a year. They are both gorgeous and perfect for colder temps. This winter I finally broke down and bought the red cranberry and I have fallen in love. The red is very special.
I love the border on all of them and love that I can see several different colors within the border. They are on the thicker side but but they are soft to work with and feel super cozy when worn with tails .
They are also gorgeous worn in a veil style. The cranberry is so special you can wrap it in a simple beginners luck knot and let the scarf speak for itself.

  56. Meira Atik

Here is the red Cranberry again, this time with the green side showing. This olive green is a much softer color on me, so it works better for everyday.

  57. Meira Atik

One thing I love about this one is that you get two looks in one- one for special occasions and one for everyday, depending on how the colors look on you. Here I am wearing the red Cranberry for a wedding, red side showing.

  58. Debra Whited (verified owner)

I ordered two of these, one in dark navy and one in red. I just received my order so I haven’t worn them yet, but I wanted to note a couple of things: the dark navy is very dark – a true navy – more black than blue. The solid center of the dark navy is golden brown on the reverse side, and sort of black and gold with a greenish tinge on the red. I wasn’t expecting that!! Like getting two scarves in one! Somehow I thought the gold in the border pattern was going to be a metallic gold, but it is not. The description doesn’t say it’s metallic, that was just my perception from the photos. Even with these differences, they are lovely, with a subtle border pattern, and the silk content gives a wonderful ‘drape’ to the fabric.

  59. gingeybear

This is the front view of this beauty.

  60. gingeybear

I’m wearing this beautiful pashmina in Teal. It’s soft, stretchy, not bulky and very easy to wrap. If you reverse the main colored side, you get another colorway that’s equally beautiful. I’ve folded and pleated it to show both sides. It might appear complex but it was really not difficult.

  61. Cheri Rubin (verified owner)

    So beautiful and quality fabric.
    Love it.

  62. Valerie Campbell

I have this in the red cranberry. I love it. It is a favorite of mine, for sure. Great for cold days when I want some color and some warmth. I love that this is a simple wrap. This one scarf is all you need.

  63. Susie Rosenberg

I have this scarf in two colors: chocolate purple and cranberry (red). It is as others have said: heavy, better to wear as a single scarf, LOVELY border that really makes the scarf look very elegant, but in a subdued way. Very well made and a pleasure to wear in cold weather.

  64. Sarah

I got this in teal and it’s gorgeous!

  65. talia shugarman

For me this tichel always is worn Friday nights… Love that feeling when my husband is mid-Eishes Chayil: “shesh v’argeman levoosha” wow….I am. For him 🙂

  66. Chanah

This is a lovely option with beautiful rich colours and a lot of flexibility. You can wrap the scarf in such a way that the border can show by your face, and second time further back, or only show the border one time so that it will look like a rich headband. Or, you can fold the border away and show of only the plain colour if you chose. This has a nice rich look, and can be worn on a daily basis or be a formal scarf. This is a nice warm soft pashmina.

Despite the beauty of this scarf (of which I have three colours) I don’t find myself reaching for it very much. Sometimes I put it on me and really like how it looks, and other times I am not so sure. Maybe one or two of the colours are not best for me, but this does have a lot of potential. I would be interested in trying the new blue and pink version, as perhaps that colour combination might suit me best.

  67. jlnichol

Love this one for Minnesota winter. It is very warm and cozy, more so than you would expect from the weight. It is definitely a bit heavier and bulkier, so not one to wear with a second scarf, though a sash works well. I’ve never had problems getting this one to behave, and it is big enough to wear in a “hijab” style. I even got one each for my mom and MIL (who don’t wrap) and they both love it too. The purple is a deep royal color, and the brown side of the teal is a very rich auburn.

  68. Maggie

This scarf is so beautiful! I’m not good with heavy scarves and pashminas, but I’ve worn this several times and it always looks nice. It is quick to wrap and makes me feel like a pro.

  69. Ireri

The purple cranberry has quickly become one of my favourite scarves. You can flip the scarves and get totally different looks. It’s thickly woven but not very heavy at all. it doesn’t have the bulk of the tapestries, for example, but is very warm with half the weight.

  70. Jenna TJ

As other ladies have said, this is a beautiful, warm tichel. Wear it alone and you won’t be cold. Turn it from front to back for subdued to very bright looks. I have the red colour and I love it. It is quite heavy, so you might wish to avoid combining with other heavy layers, however, it is pretty forgiving when it comes to pleating… In summary, instant wrap and go for colder times.

  71. kristen

have this one in Navy now and it IS as beautiful and elegant as the rich red cranberry… this can be worn either casual or elegant and looks amazing! definitely recommend 🙂

  72. Meira Atik

This scarf is insanely awesome. I just got the one in teal. The colors are so rich and the scarf is so luxurious. And both sides look equally good. Here’s how I would wear it myself: 1) on a weekday, wear it by itself with the brown side showing. Brown is neutral, so it’s a bit less dramatic and better for regular days. 2) On Shabbat and holidays, wear it by itself with the teal side showing. Teal is more dramatic so it works better for special days. 3) For major events like a black tie wedding, wear it with the teal showing but add another scarf (a shimmery is great) and/or some bling like a pin or ornamented band.

  73. kristenfederchuk

have this one in red… and it is GORGEOUS… I have gotten so many compliments on it! Want to order another one in Navy…

  74. Mishka

I have this in teal and adore it. The pattern is gorgeous on both sides and I like to use both, folding it back on one turn of the wrap so they both show. It’s fairly thick, great for autumn/winter, and doesn’t need extra adornment. If you’re a one scarf gal, this is perfect, though if you like lots of volume you could easily wear another with it. (I tend to wear a 2-in-1 underneath and not showing if I want extra volume.) This is one of the scarves I grab if I’m in a hurry – simple but stunning.
