It’s soft, stretchy, lightweight, and as comfy as your favorite T-shirt (you know, that one that’s been through the wash a hundred times?). Its non-slippery texture, comfortable weave, and long rectangular shape make it super versatile and deceptively sophisticated-looking – no more sacrificing style for comfort!

The Favorite T-shirt Scarf is light weight and incredible! It lends itself well to layering, or to any wrapping techniques you’d usually do with a pashmina or a 2-in-1. There are just so many styles you can create using this scarf. If you’d like to mimic the turban style that our model, Rachel, is wearing, check out her turban tutorial! You can also use the Favorite T-shirt Scarf to create a simple and quick “Tichel with a Twist”, as Andrea shows in this tutorial. If you’re feeling dressy, pair the Favorite T-shirt Scarf with a Shimmery and do “The Malka” wrap. It is the quintessential comfort-meets-classy wrap, and it is a great wrap to complete the business casual look.

We can’t wait for you to try this scarf – it’s a dream come true!!!

These are so soft and comfortable..And I love this lavender shade so much, I often twist a contrasting NYB around (in pic) to make the color pop even more

I have this scarf in Plum, and every time I put it on I think, “I really need to order this in more colors!” It’s so comfortable to wear, drapes well, and goes with everything. This scarf never fails me. It’s what I put on when I can’t figure out what to wear, or if I’ve been having a tichel tantrum with other scarves and need one that I just KNOW is going to work.

I love this scarf. It’s soft, light and just delicious!
I ordered the cream, but was on the fence to be honest…but my, my. It’s lovely. Almost a blush, but will be perfect with just about everything I am delighted.

Wrapunzel’s T-shirt jersey scarves are a wonderful addition to any wrapper’s wardrobe, both practical & durable, and they have yummy colors in both regular and extra-long sizes. They also wash very well. ?

T-shirt scarves are fantastic for beginners, or those having arthritis or other problems with their hands as they have no fringes to struggle with, and are not a “slick” material so there’s no slippage . ??

I have these in neutral colors blending with my natural physical color palette, for everyday wear. The scarf in my picture, (worn over a Cloud 9 volumizer), is Sage Green, which matches my eyes perfectly. If I want to add a splash of color to dramatically fancy up, a sash or headband does the trick nicely.

*Note* I just ordered the Uber Poof volumizers and I suspect the extra long version of these scarves will work especially well with them
? ? As always, the lovely ladies of Wrapunzel have outdone themselves in offering a delightful selection of products to make headwrapping easy, inspirational and fun! Thank you!

This scarf is nice alone or layered with another Tuffs 2 in 1. It snags easily on exposed Velcro. It is much sturdier and less slick/silky than the original 2 in 1. It’s so versatile, I have 2 and I’m interested in 2 more.

    Stephanie Margelos:

I just got mine in dark navy and when I put it on to see how it looked, it instantly became my favorite of scarves I’ve tried thus far. Ridiculously easy to wrap, I would 110% recommend this to someone still trying to get the hang of tying a tichel. And so unbelievably soft. I’m tempted to get one in every color now.

    Amber Weaver:

These t-shirt scarves are great! I will say I’m a little disappointed with the color on my sage green. It is practically gray…. In the photograph it looks like it has about a shade and a half more green. I guess that’s a problem with photographs that you run into from time to time. I will be keeping it 🙂

    Grace (Gabrielle):

I bought this scarf in Blue, because it seemed the closest color to my work uniform. What I didn’t realize was just how *comfortable* this scarf is! Truly a dream to wrap, and it stays put through out my physically demanding day. Love this 🙂

    Mary Kay Meenahan:

These are my favorite scarves. I wear 2 to create the Nefertiti look. I wear one alone to create a turban. Thanks, Rachel, for the great turban tutorials.

    Julie Berci:

ok, so I fought getting this scarf as I am so suspicious of new things. then I saw Emily Fay’s you tube endorsing it. ok, so I will try ONE. well, duh? what was I so afraid of? I got it in white and am in love! so I ordered 4 more: black, beige/cream, grey and mint. I love that they give me more coverage when I wear a sheer chiffon or mesh New York Bright. please don’t be afraid of these. they are so soft and wrap securely and nicely. they are a dream to wear and light as a feather. I can’t wait for the other colors like blue and navy to get restocked!

The T shirt tichels are are nice and soft, stretchy, and wrap very nicely. I love the feel of of them, and they flow very nicely when wearing a tail. They can be dressed up quite nicely. Having said all that, I must truthfully say that I haven’t really reached for these very much. I don’t know if it is because I have many other options that I tend to chose first, or if these are just not favourites of mine.

(One thing to note is that quite some months ago, I found the magenta version of this to be slightly less soft than the others. I thought this was a fluke, but I noticed this same inconsistency with the magenta Stellar.)

Comfort, comfort, comfort! This scarf is really amazing. It’s a cloud, gently hugging your head. It’s secure and soft and the only way I can wear a turban without a headache.

    Heather M:

Hi, what color is the model wearing? I dont see a golden or taupe ordering option. Thanks

    • Yehudis Taffel:

      Hi, Heather!

Rachel is wearing the Golden Tan variation. However, the photo was taken in very bright sunlight, so it looks much lighter than it will look in regular indoor lighting. Check out the product photo (select the variation from the drop down menu) to see how the Golden Tan variation will look indoors. Sorry for any confusion!

  15. 4 out of 5

Easy to work & with no tassels ! A bit short and not one I like to leave the tails down on because there is nothing to show about it. I love incorporating it with a piece of dreamy lace.

In love with this scarf!! Too beautiful!!!

This tichel feels so good when I’m wearing it! The material allows for me to pull it tighter than I would other scarves without getting a headache. It offers ease of wrapping, and it pleats with absolutely no effort at all.

  19. 5 out of 5

I love the Stellar tichel, but wanted something a little more casual, for everyday. I picked this up in navy and royal blues. The “dark navy” really is very dark. It took me several different lighting scenarios and comparisons to different apparel items to tell if it was actually navy or if it was black. It is, indeed, navy. Regardless, I do love these scarves. There are so cozy. They’ve become my everyday reliables. When monies are more available, I’ll be grabbing this in a few more colors!

  20. 4 out of 5

I am a beginner wrapper. I have this in teal. Love the color. It is soft and comfy. Wide and short so it is hard, for me anyway, to do a regal wrap. I am able do other lovely things with it, though. It is polyester, as the description states. That does make it very soft and pliable, and also warm, though I admit to being biased toward natural fibers. I like the casual look, as I am usually in jeans and a tshirt herding kids, I don’t feel like I have to baby this scarf.

  21. 4 out of 5

I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I do. I ordered the gray, which is a deep bluish slate gray that isn’t quite graphite. As others note, it’s a smidge short, so it’s a little hard for me to do a regal wrap with, given my largish noggin, so I’ve been wrapping it with my head to one side of the scarf, and leave a single tail down.

I’ll be picking up several more of these.

    Jennifer L. d:

I ordered the “golden” tan in this nice jersey tichel; however, the color is the light rosy taupe shade that is shown on the model rather than the golden color shown in the photo on the ordering page.

    • Andrea:

Yes that is the correct color! Please email us if this is an issue! [email protected] and we’ll figure out a way to make you happy! <3

I tied my first t-shirt tichel today. It is super easy to do a turban and the fabric clings to itself a little so the tucking on itself (not under the back) is easier than the smoother ones with fringe. However, it is polyester and it definitely warm. I live in Texas and for me it is a late Fall and Winter scarf. It is very easy to get it too tight since it is stretchy. I had to adjust mine, but now it is fine. Also, it is a casual looking scarf and in my opinion it gives the turban a little messier look.

  24. 5 out of 5

I have this in every color. I am a jeans and t-shirt farm chick, so this is my go to scarf.

  25. 5 out of 5

This is my go-to, everyday tichel. I bought one in grey, and loved it so much I had to buy another. I think I might add one of these in different colors to every order I place. It’s soft, super-comfortable, and easy to wrap. I also appreciate that you can fold it to wrap as a square scarf or a long one (though it’s not quite as long as a typical long scarf). I think everyone should have at least one of these in their collection!

  26. 4 out of 5

Epic fabric for wrapping, super soft, super stretchy. They’re perfect for doing turbans but I would suggest that you buy them in sets of 2 if you like a lot of volume it just makes it so much easier to build that kind of volume and height. The only reason that I gave it four and not five was because i ordered the purple but it’s really more of a plum and not a deep/royal purple that i thought i was getting but altogether epic scarf, love them!

    Amanda Schefter:

This is big for my little head, but that doesn’t matter to me because I love the feel of it! So soft, stretchy…It’s like wearing sweat pants on my head!

    Shelby Waters:

I own the black, brown and magenta! These are my go to “lazy day” wraps. They wrap so easily and lay so flat and nicely! I couldn’t imagine not having them in my collection!

    DAndra Coleman:

This is the softest, most comfortable wrap there is. Versatile and easy to use. Wish I had every color in my closet!!

I ordered the T-Shirt tichel in Rose – which there wasn’t a picture of. I was expecting a blush-pink, but it was more of a berry colour. I still loved the colour, and the material is just as described – soft and light!
The scarf is wide though, and when I wrapped it I found it just too bulky. I’ve found also that I have trouble fitting the tails around my exceptionally large head. Those with a larger head may find it easier to leave the tails down when wrapping with the T-Shirt Tichel – but as I don’t really like leaving tails out, it hasn’t really been working for me.
That said, it pleats beautifully and allows for some really great volume and texture 🙂

  31. 5 out of 5

If you like a bit more volume from your tails, this is the scarf for you. It’s a dream to wrap and so comfortable.

  32. 5 out of 5

I got the blue and I love it so much! I definitely need more colors. I usually use it for a simple turban with no volume (I have very short hair) but it works well for layered styles as well! It is incredibly soft and comfortable. A must have!

  33. 5 out of 5

Oh Favorite Tshirt Tichel. How do I love thee. Let me count the ways. You are soft and stretchy and easy to wrap and comfortable and look amazing and go on in about 10 seconds with nary a tichel tantrum to be had. You are now a new favorite comfort wrap. Oh thank you Wrapunzel. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  34. 4 out of 5

I love the jersey scarf, because it’s so soft, stretchy and easy to work with. The one star missing is only because the scarf is a wee bit shorter than most oblong scarves, thus making it almost too short for my big head.
My pic shows the green T-shirt tichel.

  35. 5 out of 5

I need a tichel I can wear and wash easily as I work at a hospital and these tichels are just perfect for long hour shift. They wash like a dream with my scrub uniforms. Other staff have asked me where I get my head wraps from and I have been delighted to give them the Wrapunzel business cards that are sent with the orders. I wear these tichels with the Jersey Joy sashes to mix and match. Great
    job Wrapunzel 🙂

  36. Fina:

These are so soft and comfortable. I bought the teal and the black, and I will likely order the other colours, as well. This is a perfect scarf. It is beautiful on its own or paired with other scarves. It wraps like a dream, and it makes an excellent layering scarf. Perfect for beginners, because it is so easy to wrap. Everyone should have a t least a couple of these in their scarf wardrobe.

  37. Kacey:

I love the feel and the stretchiness of theses scarves. Plus the colors are very vibrant. I initially bought the grey and navy scarves, but I loved them so much I purchased the black, teal, and green shortly after. I’ll probably end up purchasing more in the future too!

  38. Candice:

It’s so comfortable…it’s a mid-weight scarf, so lighter than a lot of pashminas but thicker than the 2in1s, but the jersey is so easy to wrap. My only complaint is that since it’s so big/long, it can be a lot of weight on my neck (I’ve been in a few car accidents), so this isn’t my go-to tichel on bad pain days. I’m still going to be buying it in more colors though!!

  39. Lesli:

You know what you need? A “Gimme one in every color” button. I wear these for work. Hot, active, sweaty work. It’s perfect. Stretchy, cottony, soft. The only thing that would improve them is a titch more length (big head here…) and funky patterns. Love it.

  40. Lila:

I’m pretty sure I need every color! It feels like a hug around my head, and it is so comfortable! It also is a great scarf for the gym because it stays in place and I don’t have to be worried about ruining the scarf because it is so durable.
I highly recommend it as a base scarf and just by itself, especially for turban wraps

  41. Liora Knizhnik:

This was the first tichel I ever wore for my sheva brachot about a month ago. I was so nervous about wrapping, but as soon as the soft folds of this tichel settled on my head, I knew I had made the right decision. This scarf drapes so beautifully and is so deliciously soft. It feels like a hug for my head! I love the teal color, it brings out color in my pale skin and makes me feel confident and beautiful. Can’t wait to buy more!

  42. Claire Ciss:

I LOVE these scarves. I have them in the dark navy (looks almost black) and grey, which is really a deep grey with a slight purple hue. Since I have gotten these, I use them as the basic scarf against my face, and then add another scarf depending on my outfit. They are made of a VERY comfortable, easy to wear material, and one that doesn’t budge. They are long and large, and are terrific for creating a tichel masterpiece. I would definitely get them in more colors if they had ones which fit my color preferences (dark green or olive green). I highly recommend going for these as basic foundation scarf.

  43. Tikva Seinfeld:

Love these jersey scarves. They are very soft and almost wrap themselves! I like to layer them with a thin 2&1 or a sparkling ombré. Anything thicker doesn’t seem to work for me. Definately a new favorite!

  44. Jana:

This scarf is fantastic. It’s extremely comfortable, and even though it’s a casual fabric, it’s easy to dress up. It has its own natural pleat, bunching up in such a way that adds to its ease.

  45. Hannah Ruth:

These are so soft and cozy! The colors are amazingly rich too. A great basic scarf to wear on its on or jazz up. (Personally, I find it somewhat difficult to layer this scarf with anything but the thinnest scarves.)

  46. Ireri:

These are so versatile you’ll really need to pick up a few. These are as handy as pashminas, just lighter on the head and less bulky if volume isn’t your thing. One note–I do prefer to wear these with streamlined volumizers such as the wendy, because they’re so clingy that if you have one misplaced lump in your shaper, it’ll show. But they scrunch up like a dream! They’re long, but maybe just a tad bit shorter than your standard pash (but that may just be me missing the fringe. not that these need fringe, they’re fantastic on their own).

  47. Ivelisse Jimenez:

Since I discovered this tichel that it’s so comfortable, it has become like my head’s best friend. It is so soft and stretchy that feels you’re not wearing anything. I ordered one in black, navy , teal and magenta. I’m going to order the other colors. Thank you so much.

  48. Mindy Beer:

I’m new to Wrapunzel but I’ve been wearing and collecting scarves for many years. This is one of the first scarves that I ordered, in Black, but it won’t be my last. It’s easy to wrap in many ways, super soft and comfortable. It can be worn as a base for many looks as well as on its own. I’ve already worn it on Friday night and Shabbat, and during the week. If you don’t wrap for religious reasons, it’s an amazing cover up for bad hair days, or just as a fashion statement. It’s a core building block for every Wrapunzalista. Oh…and it can even work as a shawl or skirt on some women…or even over a bathing suit and t shirt for modesty..but not in the water.

  49. Mary:

I purchased one of these tichels and I have to say, out of the dozen tichels I have, this one is my favorite by far! I will be buying more!

  50. Maggie:

These scarves are very soft and easy to wrap. The colors are very rich.

  51. Lisa in KY:

comfortable and light. Love it. Can’t wait to get some more colors.

  52. Jessica:

My new favorite basic tichel! One of the most comfortable tichels I have ever worn! Ties easily, neatly, and stays put all day long!

  53. Shoshana:

I LOVE this tichel – it is the most comfortable wrap I have ever worn!
