DESCRIPTION & REVIEWS

We couldn’t be more excited about these! Imagine the texture, ease-of-use and dependability of a pashmina… now imagine the soft, lightweight layer-ability of our famous Original 2-in-1s. One of Wrapunzel’s best kept secrets!! I am absolutely and delightfully surprised at the quality of these scarves. I recently purchased eight of them in different colors. The colors are rich and beautiful. They are light weight enough for summer but will also work for all seasons. They’re versatile, can wear them for dress or casual and they are stunning. Why in the world did I wait so long to purchase these ?! As usual…great job Wrapunzel

  2. sonyaking03 (verified owner)

The tuff 2 in 1 are by far one of my favorites scarfs, easy to work with and layer, perfect for beginners

  3. sara.q.cotton (verified owner)

Love these. They’re my go-to basic scarf and I use was as a base for almost all my wraps. Lightweight but with good coverage, and a lot less slippery than other scarves.

  4. moonlitenchantment

I bought 3 tuff 2 in 1’s – I’m wearing slate blue in the image. I also bought olive and cream, all true to color!

These scarves are great if you’re looking for something thin for multi scarf wraps. They really are thin enough for a sash which I tried in the picture ♡ they come in very crinkly, but I think that it’ll be okay as I’ve heard itll straighten out in time.

  5. Victoria Smith

I ordered the Pumpkin 2-in-1. The color is so beautiful and rich!
It was easy for me to work with. I love it. Will order again.

  6. manusellwood

These scarves are absolutely wonderful. I feel as though these are the best building blocks for a tichel wardrobe- pick up a couple colors that compliment your other scarves and you’ll be able to do such a fun variety of wraps. These scarves are beautiful enough to be worn on their own, light enough to be worn during the summer, thin enough to layer. They stay put, I wear mine during yoga in a regal wrap & it stays perfectly. You can store them twisted up to keep the fun crinkle texture or you can flatten them out for a more elegant look. They’re so versatile! The colors are beautiful & vibrant. They’re soft, and there’s something about the woven texture that I just love. You can also wear them as a neck scarf or a light shawl. So much fun!

  7. vandjsizemore

I have these in olive and eggplant. Great scarves for beginners, light and grippy.

  8. Elizabeth Levin

I have 2. After I got one in a kit, I decided I wanted a second one in white. So lovely to combine them! They’ve become my go to scarves for layering.

  9. Deidre

I like these a lot, especially how lightweight they are and grippy. I love all the colors! The only complaint is that they are only 66 inches long – a full 10 inches shorter than the original 2 in 1’s, and with my big head it’s a little challenging.

  10. Tamika

I have two of these Tuff 2 in 1s and one Original that came in my kit. I like them. I struggled at first but am getting the hang of wrapping them. I’m even getting faster at the Regal Wrap. Today I tried the Regal with two scarves. It is not perfect but I’m getting there. This is my best outcome yet. I lost count of how many times I watched Naomi Rose’s tutorial on YouTube. I paired my Dusty Rose Tuff 2 in 1 with an Eggplant Original and a purple headband. My three littles said I looked beautiful. Which made me feel extra special.

  11. kimabaker1982

My tuff 2 in 1 royal wrapped with a ‘sash; of mine tied at the side over top. When not in use for shopping I braided it. FWIW 🙂

  12. kimabaker1982

tassels are twirled, the cloth is almost gauzy,: Love it in the ‘ Teal’ I bought. It is deep, rich and just gorgeous!

  13. ~Lonnie~

The brown is a gorgeous shade, these scarves have a beautiful slight sheen/shimmer in different lighting
Sturdy, light and comfortable, and so so pretty

  14. ~Lonnie~

I absolutely love the Tuffs! I have three and need some more! I have a couple of the Original…and while I love the colors, the texture isn’t my favorite..but these, these are amazing.
The colors are awesome, they grip, have great texture to work with, my hands don’t snag them,
If you have not yet tried one of these, do!
I’m wearing the Dusty Rose here with my grey w/color NYB

  15. Renae Haringa

These really are quite versatile. I have a wine and an olive tuff 2 in 1. They really can be dressed up or worn casually. They’ve been great in the 100+ degree weather we’ve been experiencing. Very breathable. They aren’t quite something I’d do heavy yard work in but they hold up to housework for sure.

  16. l.catherine.winter

I absolutely love these scarves. They’re as versatile as the original 2-in-1s, but can hold up to more wear and tear. I have them in a dozen hues so I can layer them in different combinations. In this photo, I’m wearing a dark teal Tuff 2 in 1 with a light silk sash. Seriously, I’d give these scarves 10 stars if I could.

  17. mamapezzulo

I’ve had the teal one for years. It’s a very good foundation scarf for putting sashes and fancier scarves overtop! Thin but durable and the colors stay true.

  18. stupidpenguin2

These are my favorite scarves to wear in the summer. Super lightweight and easy to wrap!

  19. rabbitfud

My new best friend. I’ve purchased several colors and plane to get more… probably every color. The fabric is perfect for layers and hot weather. Great for beginners since it has a nice grip but soft texture. Good size for multiple styles. Some times the tassels are a disaster and have to be cut off or braided with knots (that’s why I only gave 4 stars…I like tassels). The color does bleed with the first wash but it only makes the scarf look and feel better. I wash all my scarves before I wear them. After washing one of my recent purchases, the color ended up looking almost tire dyed. At first I was upset but then I realized that it now had a beautiful character all its own.

  20. laughlik

This is the bright pink around my neck (and a sari scarf on my head). These are perfect for inspiring creativity.

  21. morganlynnlundy

I have to be honest and say I wasn’t too impressed with these scarves. I thought “tuff”, that means I can do yard work in these, but they have a slightly loose weave to them that snags on everything, jewelry, Velcro, bushes. I think I’ll give the original 2 in 1’s a try next time I order. The pictures look like they are a little more tightly woven. I do love the texture, lightness, and the way the are matte but still reflect a little light, you just have to be super careful with your jewelry and surroundings when wearing these.

  22. lisadbrown197789

The 2 in 1s are one of my favorites because they are light-weight, have a lot of color impact, and they are easy to wrap with. I love a lot of color in my wraps so the 2 in 1s are perfect for that. I own 24 colors of the 2 in 1s and still adding more to my collection.

  23. Jessicadragon06

I love my Tuff 2 N 1s. They are so easy to wear in the Texas heat! Light weight enough that I can wear them all day no problem even on the boat out on the lake! We had a tyedye water balloon fight this past weekend for my birthday today and this is what my white 2 N 1 looks like now…btw I have had this scarf for about 4 years!

  24. Laura Klein Plunkett

I love these scarves for their weight, their grippiness (is that a word?) and their saturated colors. The not-so-good part is the fringe. The fringes aren’t knotted, so after some wear the strands unravel, separate and create matted ends that just don’t look good. The problem is exacerbated when the ends are repeatedly tucked in. This happened to the first one I bought—after a few wearing the fringes looked awful. Since then, every time I buy one I spend way too much time knotting the ends of each fringe. So far, this works well. It’s too bad this isn’t done at the factory though.

I absolutely love my tuff 2-in-one in bright teal! I found the fabric easy to work with, and it’s thin enough to combine with many things, or leave it as a nice summer standalone scarf. out of all the scarves I’ve bought so far, I reach for this one most.

  26. mjsiun0731

I’ve become an intermediate wrapper and have my fair share of scarves. While I love the hues in the original 2 in 1’s.. These are grippy. When I use the Wendy shaper the original ones won’t really knot and hold that knot. They start to slowly slip I have to do the second wrap really fast. These have texture to them but are still so thin and vibrant. These just don’t slip and have a great hold.
I love the colors but I do wish they had the burnt yellow that they have in the original 2 in 1s…I’m also in love with this pumpkin orange. It’s much darker in person… So I’d say more of a brick orange. In my picture the original 2 in 1s are on top with the tuffs on bottom. It compares the dark yellow from o2in1 and dark yellow for the tuff. Then also the peach to the pumpkin orange. The tuffs are a great solid color. Perfect for the base of any scarf.

  27. mjsiun0731

My first 2 in 1 was a wine red tuff scarf. It’s beautiful. Very soft but not flimsy or weak. It’s easy to wrap and I just love how deep and rich this color is. I’m always worried wine will be either too red or too purple but this is the perfect blend.

I bought one (so unusual for me) to try. I’m such a fan of the original 2in1, that I didn’t have too much confidence that they could do better. Sadly, the original is very fragile. Even when it hasn’t torn the threads tend to shift and it will look like it has a hole in it. I saved and saved and now I’m buying every color that I had a use for. It’s such a beautiful scarf. If they ever come in other colors I’m going to buy them too.

I had ordered a Tuff 2 in 1 previously and there were a couple of bad spots in it. As soon as I made Wrapunzel aware they IMMEDIATELY, no questions asked, credited my account with the amount paid. I decided to try another one because I know the defect was from the manufacturer, not W Ladies. I got in the mail yesterday the most beautiful scarf. I ordered Cream and it is creamy alright. It has just the slightest gold tint to it. That made me really happy because my hair, when I had it, was very golden. My Mom always used to say, when the sun was on my hair, that it looked like “spun gold”. I have not so much hair now but I was so pleased with the color I thought I’d maybe just wear it around the house even. It’s not gold exactly, more like a vanilla milkshake. I love it. Have washed it, and can’t wait for it to dry so I can wear it daily. I am really thrilled with my newest tichel. THANK YOU WRAPUNZEL Ladies.

Hi Ladies, I’m wearing the wine colored tuffs 2 in 1, I really like the scarf , it really feels good on my head and so easy to tie. To let you know how much I love it I accidentally bought 2 . I paired it with the black NewYork Brights Scarf.
This is my 1st time wearing 2 scarves and also my 1st, time wrapping 2!! THIS IS WHAT I CAME UP With !!! I tried getting the front and back ( not to much luck there).

  31. keeleerose (verified owner)

I absolutely love these! They are perfect for layering, but still stand well on their own! I now have four different colors and use them more than any other scarf I’ve ever owned! The only thing I’d warn is that, due to their rich color saturation (which I love), they can leave a little color on your fingers/ forehead the first one or two times you use them.

  32. mbr.91 (verified owner)

I love these. They’re very light and easy to handle. Thicker materials make my head look too bulky but these are just right. I will definitely be ordering more colors!

  33. mamapezzulo (verified owner)

I have several colors of these. The teal is by far the best. Really light and comfortable to wear, you can stack them, they grip well.

  34. Juliette Griffin (verified owner)

Great for layering! Just be careful when wearing a shaper or headband with velcro, because it could damage your scarf if it snags the threads. I love this scarf (I have the aqua and navy) for layering or on its own when I have an outfit with too much pattern for a patterned scarf. Also awesome for warm weather!

  35. Victoria Cato (verified owner)

Love these for layering. They don’t suit me as a single scarf they can’t be beat for multi scarf wraps. I prefer the tuff 2 in1 to the original.

  36. Sharon (verified owner)

I love the scarf, but find the length problematic. They’re simply too short, with fringes that are too long. I don’t have a huge head, but to get these around properly is almost impossible for me. I find the same problem with the 2-in-1’s.

  37. Hilde Mott (verified owner)

What’s better than a 2-in-1? A Tuff 2-in-1!!! Lightweight and perfect for layering, but not as fragile as the original 2-in-1. Bonus!!!! They come SO MANY COLORS! I think they are the perfect addition to any tichel wardrobe!

  38. Susie Rosenberg (verified owner)

Best basic tichel, hands down. Thicker and more durable than the regular 2 in 1s, but very light and easy to wrap. Rich, saturated colors, too!

  39. Lori (verified owner)

This is THE perfect balance between thick and thin! Easy to wrap, colors are bright, the texture is thick but not to thick, and thin but not to thin! I’m in LOVE! I’m a pretty basic girl and like things easy and simple! These scarves make that possible! I thought I was in love wth the regular two-in-one, but I’ve cheated and fallen in love once again! This is now my go to scarf! Thanks wrapunzel for always making sure my, (and other ladies) wraps are so prefect and pretty!!

  40. Teresa (verified owner)

This is such a perfect scarf. It’s the kind of scarf you’d reorganize a whole wardrobe around, only you don’t have to, because its subtle-but-interesting texture and array of colors go with EVERYTHING. Substantial enough to wear alone, light enough to layer; wide enough for any wrap you’d want to try, not so wide that it becomes cumbersome. You cannot go wrong with the Tuffies!

  41. Cheryl (verified owner)

Just received my scarf in the mail. It got here super fast! It’s thin, soft and the color is absolutely beautiful. The only problem is that there was small hole right in the middle of it when I received it. That is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five.

    • Naomi Rose

Hi Cheryl! So sorry to hear about the hole! Please email us at [email protected], we’d be happy to work something out with you as an apology for the damage!

  42. passalacquahorsegirl (verified owner)

Received my first tuff 2 in 1 & will be back for several more. They are just too easy to use ! Definitely preferred over regular two-in-ones.

  43. hassiba67 (verified owner)

Simply the best 🙂 Grippy, thin but structured, easy to wrap and to layer. Absolute staple scarves. I will “collect” them in every color that fits my wardrobe.

  44. mehitabel (verified owner)

I love these! They are the perfect middle-ground between a regular pashmina and a 2-in-1.

These are easy to wrap, light – but not transparent and they pleat well. At the moment, I’ve been using them as a layering scarf in the cold weather, but they will be fantastic in the summer.

I bought several in my favorite colors and I hope that even more colors will become available.

I think I prefer them over regular 2-in1s, which can start looking a bit ratty, even with careful use.
