Golden Israeli Tichels
The Wrapunzel family of Israeli Tichels just got a lot more exciting! In contrast to the sparkly ‘stripes’ of metallic threads in our original Israeli Tichels, our Golden Israeli Tichels are amazing square scarves feature an all-over golden sparkle due to tiny gold threads subtly woven in throughout the fabric, giving an effect like sunlight on water! Light yet strong, simple yet beautiful. And, of course, they’re made to Wrapunzel specifications for a larger, more durable 100% cotton version of the classic square scarf found in shops and open-air markets all over Israel.

DESCRIPTION & REVIEWS
Introducing our fantastically shimmery Golden Israeli Tichels – a member of our family of Wrapunzel Israeli Tichels, all completely custom made in honor of you! The story began when we took a good look at the ‘traditional’ Israeli scarves available on the market, and knew something was missing. Like the (many!) other devotees of this scarf type, we loved their super-useful lightweight versatility. But we found ourselves wishing they were more. More durable – more long lasting and higher quality.
We couldn’t find ones like that so we made them ourselves!
Yes! Our Israeli Tichel family is the FIRST EVER group of Wrapunzel scarves under our own label. We designed them, we love them and we know you will too! We kept the square shape and the gorgeous metallic threads – but we added clean seams, stronger fabric and custom colors. And we also got rid of the tassels that many traditional Israeli scarves feature at the edges in favor of a clean, straight seam which will survive wear and tear much better.
Aren’t Israeli Tichels wonderful? They’re so versatile and they have a simplicity that we just love. You can wear one or you can layer them up, you can fold them into a sash, tie the ends into a bow at your ear – tons of possibilities! Many women have told us that the Wrapunzel Israeli Tichel is their scarf of choice to wear when exercising. Naomi Rose showcases her workout tichel style in this video tutorial. For more ways to wear your Israeli Tichels, check out Andrea’s all-encompassing Israel Tichel video! Our model Olivia wears this gorgeous tichel over our voluminous Bobo Shaper.
This is a scarf you can wear on its own and it will last and last. It’s made of 100% cotton with subtle sparkly lurex threads throughout!
Because of the natural material and personalized manufacturing process of the Israeli tichel, it is possible see some slight discrepancies in the weave. We make sure that they are small and not noticeable when you wear it on your head!
Dimensions: 38″ x 38″
One of my absolute favs!! Wish for more colors!
My favoritist scarf of all time! I can’t stop wearing them this spring.☺️ I really love how grippy they are, just a half knot behind my head stays put for hours and the tails are so pretty. The most versatile scarf too, as I can easily do half wraps, full wraps, add it to another wrap as a beautiful band of color or tie it around my neck. You can fold in over to make it shorter or leave it for full length over larger shapers or buns. I get lots of complements on the pewter one from the millennial crowd, it’s a very unusual metal look everyone loves. My flavor of the week right now is the green, it’s the perfect color for spring!
LOVE my new Golden Israeli ! I was nervous about ordering one until I got it yesterday….it’s amazing Y’all, it’s shimmery, sturdy yet still soft and pliable and very easy to work with ….now I really wish I had more colors…. wearing it here with a velvet headband and two Perfect Pouf ‘scrunchies’ around my bun for fullness

After falling in love with the gold thread Israeli tichels, I had to try these. I ordered navy and bright teal. The navy is very true to color, but I’d say the teal is more green. I’m not taking off any stars for that because I still love it. The way these shimmer is mesmerizing. It really adds depth.
I ordered the light pink. It is simply gorgeous. The feminine pink, the golden shimmer…my, my, my, what’s not to love. I’m a newbie wrapper, and I will say that wrapping with such beauties, doesn’t make wrapping less addictive! Thank you ladies!
The Golden Tichels are heavier than the others. It has a tighter weave and thicker cloth — it is some ways more similar to a pashmina than a 2 in 1. It is a bit more difficult to work with, but OH! the crown it creates is lovely!
